Somaliland States Egypt Conference Will Not Alter Its Political Future

Somaliland's Ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Omar Haji Mohamoud, dismissed the significance of a meeting involving leaders from Somalia, Eritrea, Egypt, and Sudan, reportedly aimed at opposing Somaliland's recognition. He asserted that such political gatherings lack the authority to determine Somaliland's future. The Ambassador emphasized that these summits primarily generate media attention without substantive impact on Somaliland's political trajectory.
