Puntland Demands Handover of Troops Who Defected to Galmudug
Puntland administration has strongly reacted to the defection of some of its former troops to the Federal Government of Somalia, who subsequently moved to Galmudug. Puntland's Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamud Aydid Dirir, accused these troops of being part of a group planning unrest in the region. Puntland is demanding their return.
